Background
Bokk was born in a small village amongst the tall and lush trees on Kashyyyk. He was never exposed to other races until later on in his life. When Bokk was 20 years old, he was led away from his village by a group of smugglers, The Styns. Thinking about what life would be like on other planets, he openly left with them. Eventually, the group went to Naboo, where Bokk would spend most of his life. He was taught how to smuggle illegal goods, specifically weapons. In addition, this group of smugglers taught him how to pilot small and large ships.
“Bokk is a natural,” they said.
During his time on Naboo, Bokk became a seriously addicted gambler. Any bit of credits that he had, he often gambled away. Sometimes he won, most times he didn’t. Even though Bokk was great at his job, most people within the group tried to get him to stop, or at least cut back. Bokk never stopped, in fact it got worse as he became older and more aware of everything. When Bokk was in his 90s, he was considered to be one of the higher ups within the smuggling ring.
Then, the Trade Federation stepped in.
When Bokk was exactly 90 years old, the Trade Federation invaded Naboo. As tensions were rising between Naboo and the Trade Federation, many of Bokk’s colleagues and friends were killed. Bokk was told to leave by leader Jessip Bordeaux and was given a large surplus of credits the group had earned. That was the last time Bokk had heard or seen him.
Bokk tried living by himself for a long time on Naboo before he eventually felt it was his time to leave. This led to him finding a ship and attempting to travel to Tatooine. This is where Bokk’s story leaves off.
