Background
Vargos grew up in a small mixed-population settlement on some moon no one really knows - far away from the Shistavanen's homeland, for reason that his parent never really explained, but he had always suspected that they were hiding away from someone or something. It was a rather uneventful life until a lone Bounty Hunter came to town in search of an important bounty target, a Mandalorian, who would be arriving there in two moon cycles fleeing from the law. She was mostly ignored by the town folks, who steer clear of her little hut out in the wilderness.
Vargos, who was long shaped by his parent's belief in the familial and cultural bond between oneself and the disdain for outsiders had his interest piqued by the strange woman who had dragged herself (by her admission, anyhow) a galaxy away to chase a stranger she never knew. Yaren, the Bounty Hunter, despite her outward cold hostility, doesn't seem to mind when young Vargos watch and repeat her daily training routine, mimicking her blaster training with his own makeshift slingshot, sometimes with accuracy and power that couldn't have been possible for a child - which Yaren give a side-eye to, but never commented on. A few moon cycles come and gone and Yaren's target never seemed to come. Until one day, Yaren just disappeared, perhaps discontent with stalking out a lone prey for that long.
Vargos was lonely ever since she left, an outcast among the kids his age due to his eccentric personality and weird aura that he exudes. Until another stranger crossed his town, his name Yor, who Vargos noted had the same cold and distant look as Yaren, but perhaps sharper around the edges. He also tried to follow the man, hoping to gain the same sort of admiration he found in Yaren, but the man simply smiles before leaving into the empty desert. The next day, he massacres about every single living thing in that little town, then moved to the next one, and the next, in a fanatic search for something on this tiny moon.
Vargos, who was hanging out in Yaren old stomping ground was spared of the same fate that his brother, mother, and sister had suffered, ran fast to followed his trail of destruction in furious vengeance, armed with just an old six-shooter. After weeks of chasing, he finally came too late, at the scene of Yaren smoking corpse piling on Yor bleeding, broken body, the same smile still lingering on his lips. Death is coming for him, too. In his deranged state, he rambling on and on. The last word was "What more honorable than this, a death by a Mandolorian-" as Vargos shot him in the head. Not soon after, a group of Mandolorian came, looking for Yor. When informed of Yaren and Yor deaths, they only express cold disinterest, before marking Vargos as a Mandalorian himself. He was only 13 years old then.
Motivation
**Motivation- Overthrow the Empire**
The character despises the Empire and everything that it stands for He may or may not be an active member of the Rebellion, but he supports its goals and gives aid and comfort to those against Imperial tyranny.
Realizing that the Mandalorian has a long history of being manipulated by various galaxy's factions into fighting their war, Vargos plan to break this cycle by striking at the Empire, at the people in power, to break the chain that holds them down. He wants to complete this through the guise of bounty hunting, maintaining a friendly relationship with their power structure to gain intelligence and credit to feed the Rebels that they fighting, secretly allying himself with the underdog through a second identity.
