He suffers 3 strain and reduces the damage dealt by that hit by a number equal to 2 plus his ranks in Parry. This talent may only be used once per hit and when the character is wielding a Lightsaber or Melee weapon.

Background

Sorren was acquired to be a Jedi youngling after his birth. His parents were happy to let the Jedi take him, as they saw it at something they could be proud of and flaunt to other parents. Growing up in the care of the Jedi. Sorren when it came about history of the order. Staying up late as he read about the Heroic Jedi and their brave and noble goals. Often telling other people "I'll be a great Jedi". Growing up noticed his force prowess was lacking compared to other younglings. Being frustrated he would turn to books and read about the Hero's of the order, and their great force powers, becoming disheartened. That is where he discovered the tale of Dazh Ranos. A female Jedi master using a crossguard light saber, capable of dueling using the 2nd form Makkish. Enthralled by the heroic nature and look of the cross blade, Sorren went to Master Tera Sinube and shown him the picture and about the old Jedi master of long. Amused Tera requested Sorren in his duelists class, and dug deep into the Jedi Light saber collection, wiping off dust of a cross blade lightsaber, only ready to give it to Sorren once he has proven himself and became a padawan. Under the Heliost Clan of younglings, Sorren developed his lightsaber combat and kept his mind sharp, where students force came easily for them, the lightsaber was second nature for Sorren. Showing skill at a young age, once he turned 13, he participated in the Initiate Trial's, where he was chosen to be apprentice to his current master Purram. Were at the age of 13, he has trained Sorren to 23, where his own Jedi knight ceremony was close.





Battlefield Leader
A character who became a Soresu Defender might have attracted attention through willful efforts Perhaps a combination of natural talent and hubris incited the Soresu Defender to wantonly challenge anyone with a sword. Then. one day, the character met a sword master with even greater skill-someone who instructed the PC the roots of Soresu technique. The character might have developed a sense of humility during this training, but anyone who leaps willingly into the fray to fight often maintains a flair for the dramatic.

Motivation

Help the Helpless: In a galaxy full of momentous events and desperate struggle, it is all too easy to forget the poor, the weak, and the downtrodden. The character seeks to give voice to the voiceless, and help those who cannot help themselves

Expertise: The character wants to excel in his chosen work or area of expertise, and constantly practices to achieve perfection

Duty: (20) Combat Victory: The Player Character is driven to show that the Alliance can hold its own against Imperial forces in any
troop vs. troop engagement. He wants to engage the Empire's military—thei r best, whenever possible—and provide more
victories for the Alliance to tout to the galaxy as proof it can ultimately win the war. This means daring raids, excellent
tactics, and acquiring the best firepower possible.

Morality

Bravery: The character places the well-being of others as his utmost priority. He faces incredible odds without a second thought and never backs down from a challenge.

The characters zeal for protecting others often comes at the cost of himself. The character sometimes neglects to consider his own well being as a priority, and suffers the consequences.
