Background
Born on the outskirts of a primitive backwater world to a rather traditionalist family, Drek grew learning the ancient culture of his people before the Hutts' influence, as well as surviving in the hostile wastes of his homeworld. After coming of age, he bartered for passage off-world, seeking refuge away from the Hutts back home, stopping on Tatooine for repairs and resupply. While on that rock, he found work as a big-game hunter, fending off bountied beasts of the dunes for the right price, taking many trophies and trinkets from his hunts. One fateful day, after bringing down a bountied quarry, and gathering proof of it's demise, a large and imposing scavenger beast tried to steal Drek's kill. Before he could land a shot, the beast charged him, and to make matters worse, his trusty blaster lance had jammed. After a tense conflict, Drek drove the blaster's blade into the beast's neck. After further honing his skills against the hostile creatures of the Tatooinian wastes, he turned his capability as a tenacious hunter and warrior towards the trade of mercenary work in the seedy cities of the desert planet, in the hopes of finding further worthy quarry, and more importantly, a better place to call home.
