Background

Drell'krios was a former slave shipped born on Ryloth. During his adolescence, he was discovered to be force sensitive after dispatching a guard serving his master. He was then sent off to join the galactic war machine of the Empire, and be trained as an Inquisitor to hunt wayward Jedi. Under the ruthless guidance of Darth Vader, Drell became a skilled, albeit atypical addition. He served the Empire until a fateful encounter with a Jedi who would end up slaying a fellow Tognath Inquisitor, irreparably shaking his allegiance to the Empire. He and the rest of his surviving band decided to cast themselves out, turning instead to a new order which had been established by a powerful Force user known as Orm.

Eventually, Orm disappeared. Drell followed suit, and Perils followed, leading him on a bloody crusade against the Empire after a group of Insurgents on Ryloth were ambushed--one of them being his lover. He found his way to the world Pillio, guided only by signs of the Force and his own desire for vengeance. There, he came across none other than Luke Skywalker, whom Drell decided to engage--lost to his grief and desiring only to die in battle. Their lightsabers clashed for a time, until Drell was ultimately defeated and spared. After awakening, he abandoned his formative teachings in exchange for tutelage in the ways of the Jedi.
