1) Bran discovered his force sensitivity as a child. Since he was young he was always taking things apart and reassembling them with his powers.

2) While showing off his powers to his friends as a kid, Bran was shown a toy that Kym had recently been given. Wanting to know how it worked, Bran took it apart and couldn't properly fix it. Kym and the others haven't talked to him since.

3) When Bran turned 6, in 15 ABY news reached his homeworld of the Praxeum. His parents agreed that once he was old enough he could go for training. 9 years later, he set off on his own leaving them nothing but a note.

4) His cousin Lin was always a good friend and influence in his life. She was more always more traditional. Though they fought fiercely over their philosophies, Lin always had Bran's back when he got into trouble.

5) One time a stranger collapsed in front of him in the village. He called for a medic and when they came the (SW equivalent of an AED) wasn't working. Calmly and confidently Bran managed to repair it and help save the stranger's life.

Ambition: Become a Jedi Knight.
Bran believes that this is the only way he can gain enough influence to bring his people to join the New Republic.

Bran takes joy in working with his hands, and is very proud of anything he creates. He holds his creations to a very high standard and constantly seeks to improve his skill.

Bran truly believes the Cereans to have a backwards culture. He has respect for the old ways, but technology is not something to be feared or avoided. He views it as his responsibility to bring Cerea into a new modern age, and convince the elders to embrace the New Republic.
