Background
Iora Sebanne was born on Nar Shaddaa to a family of Clawdites who were part of a Clawdite diaspora during the time of the High Republic. Nar Shaddaa was still the den of crime it is today, and it sat firmly under the iron grip of the Hutt Cartel. Iora’s family was able to come to the world, but only under great debt to Gardulla the Hutt, who was quick to collect on her investment. Tribute was demanded, and tribute was offered. Iora’s mother was to surrender her child to the Hutts’ custody. It was within the halls of Gardulla’s palaces and pleasure barges that Iora acquired their first taste of oppression. A Clawdite had many uses for the Hutts; thus, it was also here that Iora was first trained to fight and to serve. There they stayed for about ten years, until a joint Jedi-prisoner force revolted against the Hutts and was able to free many of the slaves in service to Gardulla. Then, Iora acquired a taste for something entirely new: freedom.
From there, Iora enjoyed their freedom by bringing it to others. Many times, they fought from behind the scenes, aiding in one revolution or the next. Despite the dangers and the anxieties they produced, Iora found fighting for the freedom of other beings, even if from the veil of deceit and disguise, many times more beautiful and rewarding than rotting in Gardulla’s service. However, over the years, Iora had seen how the galaxy deteriorated as the once-shining Republic was now a rotting shell of its former self. Thus, when rumors began to form of an alliance against the now repressive and corrupt Republic began to circulate, Iora was quick to track them down. Iora joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems’ militia forces as a mercenary, sharpshooter, and intelligence agent just before the outbreak of the Clone Wars. Iora moved from one battlefield to the next, victory or defeat. Jabiim, Mimban, Dac, Saleucami, Felucia, and Kashyyyk were among some of the battles they participated in, some more briefly than others. These battles took a toll on Iora’s mental state, as enemies lurked in every corner, and nowhere was safe.
Tragically, the war Iora waged for liberation from the Republic was ultimately for naught, as what took its place was something far more horrifying. As the Empire began to stretch its shadow over the galaxy, Iora fled, hiding near the borders of the Mid and Outer Rim. It was there that Iora met fellow ex-Separatist Anto Kreegyr. Iora helped Kreegyr recruit from amongst the ranks of disgruntled Confederate fighters, forming an organization that stood in opposition to the Empire. As Kreegyr continued to dispatch Iora on more assignments, they realized that they were not the only organization with this goal in mind. There were other rebel cells out there, and suddenly, Iora considered that there were better options than Kreegyr. Regardless, they did not have to wait long, as Kreegyr’s cell was ambushed and nearly wiped out entirely during a raid on the Imperial power plant at Spellhaus. Iora was devastated at such a massive loss of life. Such a precious, fleeting thing has been robbed from so many, Kreegyr among them. But Iora tried to remain undeterred, setting out on a years-long search for any other rebel bases across the galaxy.
Iora searched the galaxy for the remaining rebel cells. By the time they found anyone who still opposed the Empire, they found a small team carrying out an ongoing operation. Iora offered to assist them with their current assignment and, in exchange, received an invitation to return with them to their base. Travelling to the Anoat system, they were caught up on the state of things. Many of the smaller rebel cells, as well as the larger Massassi Group, had united under Mon Mothma to form the Alliance to Restore the Republic and had struck a deadly blow to the Empire. Iora rejoiced knowing there were still those more than willing to stand against oppression.

Description
Being a Clawdite, and such a long-lived one at that, Iora has taken many, many forms throughout the years. However, a constant they keep coming back to is a tall woman with black hair and eyes, contrasted with somewhat pale skin. This form allows Iora to retain most of her athletic ability while also retaining a somewhat understated appearance. However, as long as they are humanoid, Iora can be anyone and be everywhere.
Their normal form has brownish-green skin typical of Clawdites and yellow, cat-like eyes.
