Vann was born an orphan child on Coruscant. He and his sister struggled for most of their early lives. Until Vann learned he had a hidden talent. Impersonations and quick thinking. He was able to use these to get a leg up for him and his sister.

As Vann grew, so did his talents. He was able to get anywhere he wanted, he could even sneak someone into prestigious academies if he wanted. The rest of his young adult life was spent finding things to rob and steal. There was nothing he wouldn't try to steal, but eventually that wasn't enough for him.

Vann drew fire once he craved the attention. Every heist he would leave a calling card. It became less and less about the spoils of the heist, and more about the fame and attention he garnered from his impossible deeds.

His mission became easy. Make everyone know the criminal, "Sol Thief."

Vann wants his name on everyone's lips. He wants the empire to know he is the greatest thief around. He'll steal things high value objects just for this reason.
