Sap gloves are produced by a number of companies throughout the galaxy. Made in a variety of styles for nearly every imaginable species, they are simply a pair of gloves with heavy plates, alloy pellets, sand, or some other dense, weighty material sewn into the fingers and back of the hand. Relatively innocuous when worn, sap gloves amplify a wearer's punch and act almost like brass knuckles. Sap gloves are popular among law enforcement and intelligence services throughout the galaxy, and their use is extremely common in the criminal underworld. Spotting sap gloves on an individual requires a Daunting (◆◆◆◆) Perception check.

The garrote has been the go-to weapon for quiet assassinations for millennia. An extremely simple and deceptively lethal weapon, a garrote is a length of cord or cable with a handle often attached at each end. The cable is wrapped around a target's throat and the handles are pulled tight at the back of the neck, cutting off air and either knocking out or suffocating the target. Garrotes are easy to conceal and can even be made in the field with readily available materials. A character who makes a successful Brawl attack when using a garrote against a target can cause that target to become suffocated. Targets may attempt to break free of a garrote with an opposed Brawl vs. Brawl check, adding ■ for each round they have been caught.

PIONEER ARMOR, Designed with the combat engineer in mind, pioneer armor consists of a rugged, reinforced jacket and trousers; sturdy boots with plasteel toe caps; gloves; and a modified engineer's helmet. The suit is reinforced with thick layers of ballistic polymer to provide extra protection to sensitive areas. What sets pioneer armor apart from normal padded armor is the suit's integrated load-bearing system. Composed of numerous adjustable loops, straps, hooks, and sealable pockets and an integrated tool belt, the armor distributes weight and provides easy access to tools and supplies in the field. Pioneer armor increases a wearer's encumbrance threshold by three.

Background

Shaxx grew up on Dosh, the Trandoshan homeworld. Trained in the arts of the fesssellis by his mentor, Asho Drern. Fesssellis is a rare specialization, that utilizes Luradan, the force that surrounds the galaxy. Using Luradan the user and toughen his or her body through stoic meditation and primacy of mental and spiritual states. Taught to endure great punishment both mentally and physically. Shaxx had prepared himself since birth.

When the war with Kashyyyk broke out, Shaxx was called to service, where he advanced through the military ranks and eventually landed with a Specialist Hunting Party, who would do small raid strikes against the wookies of Kashyyyk, after a few years of service he returend to Dosh to find out that Asho Drern had left the planet. Searching for his whereabouts he learned that Asho had gotten passage to Tatooine aboard a small freighter. Not understanding why his mentor had left Dosh, Shaxx followed using all the credits he had earned to purchase passage to the Arkanis sector.

Once on Tatooine the search for his mentor started. After a few weeks of searching with no leads he was introduced to Teemo the Hutt, a local gangster who operated in Mos Shutta. Teemo said that he could use his resources to reach out to the Hutt Cartel and try and find Asho, but that it would cost Shaxx in return. Shaxx and Temmo made a deal, for a year Shaxx would use his skills in the fighting pits, along with whatever other neferious things Temmo needed. Often acting as a bodyguard, and enforcer when Temmo needed to send someone other than those pig faced Gammorians. Its been four months into his servitude and Shaxx continues in his free time to search for anything on Asho.

Shaxx sleeps in Teemo's Palace down in the basement near the fighting pits.

Debt: Teemo the Hutt, who offered to use his conntections with the Hutt Cartel to try and find Asho, he owns Teemo 1 year of service. As of the start of the game, its been 4 months into his debt. (-5 Obligation)

Shaxx is a barrel chested Trandoshan who stands 5'8", He wears armor which he's scrapped together other the years, a reinforced jacket, and trousers, sturdy boots with plasteel toe caps, gloves and a engineer's helmet. The suit is reinforced with thick layers of ballistic polymer to provide extra protection to sensitive areas. Shaxx is often seen with a pair of sap gloves, or just unarmed. When in a tight bind he brings out his garrote which he keeps hidden in his right sleeve near his wrist. Just in case. Across his midsection he wears a Utility belt which holds his comlink, mess kit, sticksticks, rations, breath mask, and water purifier, he attaches his goggles to the belt when he's not wearing them while out in the wastes. He has a few credits for drinks at the cantina.

Other Notes

Regeneration: When using long rest or bacta to heal wounds, heal another wound. May regenerate limbs, taking at least a month to be usable.

Claws: Brawl checks deal +1 damage to opponent with critical rating of 3.
