As a young guppie from the swamps outside Otoh Gunga, Lux witnessed the Battle of Naboo, and the rise of Emperor Palpatine. Growing up in the wake of the Galactic Empire was difficult, and hardened Lux at a young age. However he managed to find his way and was trained in the ways of the Gungan warriors. Eventually, in an effort to integrate Gungans and Nubians, Lux was selected to serve on the security team for Naboo's elected royalty (who served in a ceremonial capacity under the Empire). Over the years Lux served as the personal security attaché for several Nubian dignitaries including, for a brief time, Moff Quarsh Panaka.

Immediately following the Battle of Endor, Operation Cinder was put into effect on the planet of Naboo. While New Republic/Rebel forces were able to foil the attempts to destory the planet, the massive storms that were cause wreaked havoc on the planet and the Gungans. In the midst of the catastrophe, Lux attempted, but failed, to save his family. Feeling the weight of his failure to protect his own, despite being able to protect others, Lux sent himself into exile—vowing not to return to Naboo until his oath is fulfilled.

For the past 10 years, Lux has been wandering the Galaxy. Helping the needy wherever they may be. (See Motivation & Obligation)

Place of Origin:
Lux is incredibly proud of being from Naboo and misses it terribly. He hates the reputation his planet has gotten as being the home-world of the two most hated entities in the Galaxy: Emperor Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks. He is fiercely interested in proving that not all Nubians are awful.

Oath:
Considering himself a failure to the Gungans in some respects, Lux vowed to travel the galaxy to help the helpless wherever they may be. One day he may return to his home, if/when he feels that his vow has been fulfilled.

7-ft tall Otolla Gungan with orangish/tan skin that has darkened and faded with age. Two scars form a crude "X" on his snout.
Not overtly muscular, but lean and toned. Ties ears behind back when engaged in combat or strenuous activity.
Weathered and fierce in appearance. He's seen some things.

Wears armoured clothing that is Nubian by design, but has been carved with intricate designs that are Gungan in nature. What was once bright and shiny chrome is now completely matte and dull. Dents and pivots show wear and extreme use. Parts of chest plate, left shoulder, and left gauntlet are some sort of leathery/reptilian hide armour with slight ridges protruding. Does not wear shoes.

Carries a force pike with similar carvings affixed to his back. A carved bone blade is affixed to his waist.
