Baz was part of a small resistance cell on a remote planet, one of seven rebels responsible for undermining Imperial activity in the region. They lived rough on the outskirts of civilization to avoid detection, and supplies were always low. Baz sometimes sold information in exchange for essential supplies, but one day he got greedy. In exchange for a nearly new Z-74 Aratech speeder, he gave vital intel to an unvetted broker who turned out to be an Imperial plant. The location of their hideout was discovered, and Baz escaped only because he could outrun the Troopers sent to kill him. Since then he's lost much of his will to live, taking odd jobs to maintain his minimalist existence.

Friendship - Baz secretly desires the camaraderie he has lost, despite his efforts to keep his distance.

Deathwish - His survivor's guilt compels Baz to take unnecessary risks.

Betrayal - 5 - Got his entire squad killed, then abandoned his post.
