Farga was born to Sheeva and Temb, captives from a large Melitto hive that was sent to colonize beyond the home planet. The colony selected a moon that the Empire had interest in, and conflict ensued. As can be imagined, the Empire was able to overrun the colony and Farga's family and a number of other families were captured by, and forced to work in mines, due to their ability to see in the dark. While Farga's parents work in the mines, day-in and day-out, he scrounges around their settlement, searching for food, and bit of scrap to keep their breathing systems operational. The settlement is a rough, hard place to live, where people fought over the smallest of resources. Farga was no stranger to the scrapyard scuffle, and was able to use his brawn to secure goods for the family.

Farga hates the Empire, and wants to free his family and nest-mates from the clutches of the Empire. While they are unable to return to their original nest, he wants to flee somewhere that the Empire cannot find them.

Farga has iridescent orange cilla surrounding his face, which only has two of the four plates it will have once he is mature. Though still growing, he is a stout specimen of his species. His respirator is scuffed and rusty, but works well enough to keep him breathing safely.
