Background
Deeanna was born and raised on Corellia, being the middle child of five. As a youth, she was a thin and gangly thing, outgoing but awkward, and she tried to reinvent her image by becoming a pod-racer, the best pod-racer ever. Only problem was, she was terrible at it. Like, embarrassingly bad. But she was not discouraged, and she was determined to use all of her talents and time to becoming a passably good driver. Throughout the years of her childhood, she would often carve through a small branch of the Jedi Archives (she thought she was sneaky, but really she was just friends with the librarian archivist, whom recognized her as a budding force-sensitive), and she snuck out what she thought was an ancient manual on driving, but turned out to be a somewhat more current manual on piloting that most of the Jedi considered to be drivel and worthless. She spent ages translating the Pulastra texts, thinking they were written in complicated code, but later discovering they were just really, really disorganized and poorly written. But once she'd translated it, she realized the value of what she had, and discovered a true knack for piloting. She'd never been a bad driver, just, gravity kept getting in the way. So she mastered a Jedi Master's instructions on piloting and was able to pull off dangerous moves, recognizing from Pulastra's teachings what she'd always suspected about life anyway; that the trick is to fly cocky. Though the Empire had exacted Order 66 and ripped the archives away from her and everyone else, the damage had already been done. DeeDee realized that the Empire's propaganda against the Jedi was false, as the manuals she had read were more than just instructions, they were stories and moral codes. She knew the honor in being a Jedi. So, as a young adult, DeeDee kissed her family goodbye, and left to join the rebellion. There was just one problem: Actually finding the rebellion. She offered up her piloting skills on the free market, where she met a Sullustan in need of a pilot to deliver goods, and whom promised he could get her in touch with rebel cells. So far, she's still waiting for her chance to join the rebellion.
Motivation
To support the rebellion and bring back the honor of the Jedi.
Duties
DUTY:
PERSONNEL - 2
MORALITY:
Emotional Strength - SELFLESSNESS
Everyone has ambitions. Everyone has dreams, goals, desires, needs; but Dee would never step on someone else to get what she wants. On the contrary, her kindness and empathy towards others would have her most likely sacrificing her own chance at gains or glory in order to help someone else in need. She places great value on the happiness and safety of others before her own.
Emotional Weakness - IMPULSIVENESS
Dee is neither foolish nor naive, but she does have a drive that pushes her to make quick decisions (some might say rash) and to leap before she looks.
Description
She may seem brash and devil-may-care, but DeeDee is one. Serious. Pilot. She has jaw-length messy brown hair, green eyes, a small triangular face with a wide-set mouth, and a dusting of freckles. Though gangly as a teenager, as an adult, she's become lithe and agile, and surprisingly developed which is probably the one taboo subject for her as she's still self-conscious about it.
