Background

Imo-Kay was raised in a poor upbringing, his father being a SoroSuub factory worker and his mother mainly taking care of the house. Around 33 BBY Imo would join his father, Doino-Kay, at SoroSuub.

Imo however was a freight pilot, shipping parts for various resellers across the galaxy. He was making a modest income, and his father was even able to retire early.

Rising through the ranks of SoroSuub allowed Imo to make some connections off world, and learn of some exclusive company trade routes that SoroSuub used for various high priority shipments they needed to keep away from prying eyes.

All these things would come into play during 2BBY, When SoroSuub declared itself law. It was then that Imo's father came to him with a strange request. Doino asked Imo to take a package to his uncle during his next freight run. Without question the package was en-route. However upon arrival the person to recieve the package was not uncle Sabat.

What met him was a human, no taller than Imo however much wider. The man took the package, and handed back a slip of paper with instructions on what to say and do when claiming his return freight.

After some questioning Imo's father revealed he indeed recruited Imo to run some drugs off world in exchange for weapons and medicine for the Sullustan Resistance, asking Imo if he would join the fight for Sullust's freedom. Since Imo was no fan of the Empire he agreed without hesitation

Imo would proceed to use his "borrowed" YT-1300, "The Lethargic Squill", as a means to move cargo for the Sullustan Resistance utilizing the various contacts and routes he'd learned of during his tenure at SoroSuub. Up until 4ABY, when the Sullustan Resistance would officially join with the Alliance.
