Background
Years ago, when Onik Brakham went by another name, he was a broken Jedi Padawan sent masterless into a bloody conflict he didn't he didn't want to fight: growing into a confident Commander and Jedi along the course of the Clone War.
Now, that couldn't be the farthest thing from his mind. Unbound from the restricting Jedi Code, he drinks, gambles, loves, and fights as freely as he wishes.
Liable to grin at the prospect of either a kiss or a duel, this smuggler gets through his day to day by talking his way onto crews of other vessels, and helping them out so long as they'll keep him around. If they begin to suspect anything, he's gone the next day.
It might not be the life he was "destined for" or whatever, but it's the one he's forged for himself- and one he plans to keep on living.
Motivation
Freedom- Brakham desires the freedom to do what he wants, and wishes others to be free to do what they choose, as well.
For a while, he has been. Still, the yolk of opression: be it by slavers, dictators, or otherwise, continues to make him grit his teeth.
It's not like he's going to stick his neck out too far for anyone else, though. Things like that are liable to get you killed, and more importantly: They don't make you any credits.
Obligations
Criminal (10)
Brakham was a Jedi Padawan, once. Sure, he's changed his name, undone his braid- even thrown away his lightsaber, but he's still the same man, and still bears the scars he earned during the Clone Wars. Were the Empire (or other interested parties) ever to discover who he once was, he'd have a target on his back once again.
Description
In his mid-twenties, Brakham is a bleach-blonded human that stands at 1.82 meters.
With a soft complexion, a sharp jaw, deep eyes, and a wry grin, Brakham is more than satisfied with his looks.
He sports a light brown jacket with darker accents, and openly carries his DE-10 blaster pistol on his hip. He wears a long black bandana as a headband to cover up a long, thin burn scar that lays on his left temple, moving into his hairline above his ear.
