Background
Beginnings: Primitive Backwater. Nuwe is from a pretty obscure planet that you probably haven't heard of.

Eventually Nuwe realized that he had been helping the Rebellion resolve small tactical situations and was wanted by the Empire for question, so Nuwe deleted his online persona and decided to join the real Rebelion, to put his skills to the ultimate test. This is no game. THIS. IS. WAR.

Motivation
Motivation: Spirit. This Commander believes he is the tool of a higher power, be it a deity, the force, or a lofty ideal such as the republic (The Father, a.k.a. Space God). He makes his decisions based on faith, and in times of great peril he takes comfort in it. He may seem strange to his subordinates, especially to those who don't share in his beliefs, but his guiding principals and moral character are obvious to anyone who takes time to look.
Duties
Duty: Support. Individually, the lone agents of the Rebellion don't stand a chance against the combined might of the galactic Empire. Only by working together can they hope to achieve victory in this civil war. Ran is devoted to helping fellow rebels fulfill their Duties by providing whatever assistance they need. Although he might not get the same amount of reward or recognition as the people he is helping, Ran has many more opportunities than his fellows to fulfill his Duty to the Rebellion.
