Background
Garo comes from a family of weapon smiths. Life was peaceful, and his family was respected for the fine pieces they made, necessary for the hunting and protection against local wild fauna. This changed when the Crimson Dawn arrived on-planet. As criminal elements pervaded the city, the Thifs were subjected to extortion and driven into poverty. In desperation, the home deed was used as collateral to make ends meet, but that was the endgame of the local head thug. Now armed with the deed, he had the Thifs arm his thugs for turf wars.
As the Crimson Dawn's hold weakens, Garo sees a chance to regain his family's freedom.
