Background
Administrative Systems Model Oh-Five began his existence on one of many rumored "droid planets" as a restored class one droid managing shipping lanes (or what counted as "shipping lanes" on the almost hastily cobbled together planet, anyway), shifting imports and exports back and forth ad nauseam.
Over time, personality quirks began to develop (as they often do on droids that do not get wiped regularly), and suddenly commas were shifted and the resulting surplus was swept under the carpet. Shipments came back with some product missing, or not at all.
The local authorities, after some searching (during which the disappearing amounts grew more and more ridiculous), tracked the disappearing merchandise to AS-M05 who they then promptly, in place of an amoral memory wipe, exiled into the Galactic Empire.
