Background
Myri's Master, Jinn Ostree, is an assistant librarian in the Jedi Archives and he fully intended for Myri to follow him into this most illustrious occupation. When she chose to join the war effort he made it clear that he didn't approve; 'We must be guardians, yes... but of knowledge, not of the Galaxy. It is more than capable of continuing on its own', he said.
Myri had always been a serious, conscientious student and she didn't go against her Master's advice lightly. Yet for years she had been told that she was too cautious, that fear dogged her and could be her undoing, that she must be bold in order to defeat it. She could see the wisdom in that, and how better to face her fears than to go to war with the rest of the Order? And even better, she could be a voice of moderation in the conflict, possibly preventing the inevitable over-zealousness inherent in warriors.
Motivation
Ambition: Enlightenment; The character seeks spiritual and intellectual enlightenment above all else. She does not seek to bring enlightenment to others, for she realizes that such a goal is innately personal.
Morality
Value: 71
Emotional Strength: Caution; The character possesses commendable prudence, willing to always look before she leaps into a new situation. Her forward-thinking ways may have saved her fellows from dangerous situations on numerous occasions.
Emotional Weakness: Fear; The line between caution and fear is a thin one. Sometimes the character spends too much time concerned about the potential problems of a situation to act in that situation at all. At other times, her caution causes her to flee when danger presents itself, though bolder action may reap real rewards.
Description
A slight human girl with long dark hair, Myri is very unassuming. She tends to fade into the background in social settings, preferring to observe and advise rather than being in the spotlight herself. She wears loose, flowing robes and keeps her lightsaber hidden in their folds, preferring not to show it off.
