Daegan was abandoned from a young age, quickly finding himself on the doorstep of Brodel Poldu, a Dowutin on the planet _____. While he took the small child in, Brodel noticed Daegan's cunning mind and skills at mechanics and immediately sought to put the boy's skills to use. Since then, Daegan was doing odd jobs for Brodel throughout his life, with Brodel taking a cut of his earnings of course. Over time, Daegan learned more of how to tinker with mechanics and customize them to his whims, as well as some more unruly tactics and using quick words to avoid the law. Whenever he needed a rest, he was always welcome at Last Resort Repairs, a mechanic's shop that acted as a front for Brodel's criminal jobs. Regardless of whatever trouble Daegan came into, Brodel had his back... Most of the time.

Last Resort Repairs isn't just an old, run-down, decrepit, hole-in-the-wall mechanic shop, it's a home. If anything were to happen to the shop, or the old man Brodel who runs it, Daegan wouldn't know what he would do.
