Background
Born on Dathomir amonst the Nightbrothers, Zebashdon spent the first decade of his life learning the ways of his heritage, the path of a warrior. Honing his abilities with the Force, as he would later understand it to be, "Bash" became a formidable fighter.
At the age of 10, a Duros Archaeologist/Explorer named Ern'st Thawlo came to Dathomir. Exploring the Galaxy for mysteries of the Force, he spent some time among the Nightbrothers, befriending them as he carried on in his research of the planet. Eventually, it was time for Ern'st to leave. However, Bash felt a connection to the old Archeologist, and a calling to the larger Galaxy. Stowing away on his ship, Bash left Dathomir to journey into the stars.
Years pass as Bash accompanies Ern'st across the Galaxy. Carrying with him the Warrior's way he learned on Dathomir, Bash learned to temper that might and ferocity. While traveling with Dr. Thawlo, he learned about different Warrior cultures that existed throughout the millennia, which impressed a sense of honor on the young Dathomirian. Though not having the mind for such academics, he appreciated what he learned, especially when it came to the Force.
Bash came to be the a body guard of sorts for Dr. Thawlo's expeditions, fighting of creatures and pirates across the Galaxy. The company that he traveled with came to be his family, and he grew to love his life of adventure. One day however, everything changed.
While on an expedition on the swamp planet of Twon Ketee, a Marauder group of Mandalorians raided their camp. The forces were too strong for Bash to fend off, even with his Force abilities. Blindsided by an explosion from somewhere, Bash was knocked out, presumed dead by the raiders. When he came to, he found that everything was destroyed, everyone was dead or gone... whatever it was that Dr. Thawlo was trying to uncover here, the Mandalorian's must have wanted it. He vowed to finish what Dr. Thawlo started, to find the power to never be defeated again.
Bash knew why they were on this obscure planet far in the Outer Rim, he knew the legends of what Dr. Thawlo was searching for, what the Mandalorians killed his family for. An ancient temple lay buried on this planet. In it, a warrior of myth once traveled to claim it's treasure. Neither the Warrior, the treasure or the temple itself was ever found. But Dr. Thawlo was close. Bash followed the notes his old friend and father figure left behind. And got lost. He could understand nothing of what he read. He wondered for days, eventually coming across a nest of Rathars. He found his strength increased while driven by his anger and pain of loss. But he recalled lessons he learned from Old Ern'st, those are the makings of the dark side.... He managed to take one of these deadliest of creatures down, but became overrun by the rest of the pack. Fleeing, he stumbled into a sinking pit, and was engulfed by the mire.
He awoke in gloom, a faint glow coming from curious stones embedded in the walls. He realized he was in the ancient temple! He wondered for while, soon coming into a large cavernous room. In the center layed a pedestal, and lying before it was a suit of armor, occupied by bones. He approached, finding an amulet on the pedestal. Looking down at the armor, he realizes it's the fabled Warrior who's armor is legend. Dawning it himself, Bash takes the amulet. The corrosive atmosphere of the planet that weighed on him all along vanished around him, and he felt revitalized. In his mythic armor, he Conjures a blade from the Force, and charges the remaining Rathars.
Years later, Bash took up Mercenary work, though nothing like the detestable filth that ravaged his family. He still traveled the galay, helping those he could in exchange for just enough compensation to fule his quest. The artifact of the Force he had in his position drove him, there must be more out there for him to find, to learn and empower himself with. If he grew his strength, he could protect those who need protecting, and bring an honorable defeat to those even without honor.
After the Clone Wars began, Bash found himself at the side of another Mercenary, Dan'do. Bash learned Dan'do used to be part of Deathwatch, the same Mandalorians who attacked him and Dr. Thawlo's expedition. Joining forces, they fought in the Clone Wars, alongside Jedi and Clones. Though respecting them, Bash never cared to join the Jedi. He preferred to find his own path in the Force, seeking ancient mysteries and power like Dr. Thawlo did, using it to help the defenseless, and overthrow those without honor, those in his way.
Motivation
Oath - Departed
Bash tries to uphold the life that his old friend Ern'st Thawlo led, that of exploration and discovering the Force. At the same time, he also will become stronger, to protect those who are unjustly attacked and to bring defeat to ones who abuse their might. He will never let what happened to his family happen again.
Morality
Morality: 50
Strength: Bravery - Bash will never shy from a battle. His beliefs in the honor of battle and the Warriors way shape his thinking. He will fight to protect and defend, to avenge, and even just for the sake of a glorious battle. With no fear of death, he knows that at any time may be defeated and become one with the Force, and he gladly will do so. Yet he will use all of his might to prevent that until it truly is his time.
Weakness: Anger - while living for honorable battle, giving in to anger is too easily done. Succumbing to provocation or personal insults, Bash must defend his Honor. Further, in the heat of battle, slipping into a berserker rage at the unjust tactics or dishonorable schemes of opponents can overtake his better senses.
Description
Towering at 7'2", Bash is hulking Zabrac with dark orange skin and the customary black tribal tattoos of the Dathomirian Nightbrothers.
At first appearing almost stoic, Bash actually has a light-hearted demeanor
Carrying no weapons, or gear of any kind, the only possession Bash has seems to be an ancient looking suit of armor, reminiscent of the Mandalorian design, though with a solid chest piece. The plating seems to be made up of some kind of unknown, dark brown stone-like material instead of the typical durasteel plating.
When Bash conjures a weapon using the Force, the energies materialize in a light blue construct
