Background
R2-DC00L has a short but rather eventful history in the Galaxy. Constructed decades ago by Hutt droid techs on Nar Shaddaa with the intention of combining the navigation skills of an R2 with the brawn and dexterity required of a mercenary, R2-DC00L became well-known along the Pabol Hutta trade route as a sneaky enforcer, since no one expected an R2 droid plugged into a starfighter as a threat. In his role as a mercenary for the Qunaalac kajidic, DC00L took down many a threat to the kajidic. Marlo, the Qunaalac leader, made certain that DC00L was properly maintained, but due to many other commitments, this was not always followed through. As a result, without orders to track down marks, DC00L developed a surly reputation and a tendency to go rogue, often mixing with other kajidics and seeking out independent hits. It was this independence that led DC00L to seek work with Bargos the Hutt in regards to his mining investment on Gavos. DC00L has every intention of double-crossing the Hutt leader, financially weakening him and making him a target for Qunaalac aggression.
Motivation
DC00L, with long periods of independence is motivated by retaining his skills, fearing that if it goes too long without work that these skills (and its circuits) will degenerate. It is motivating by not being out of the game, not trying to get out of the game.
Obligations
ANTAGONIST 10: R2-DC00L's reputation as a surly and independent droid has led to it being targeted as one who can get under the skin of other organizations. The Qunaalac kajidic have used the droid to do its bidding in tracking down debtors and other marks, but long period of inactivity from kajidic higher-ups led the droid to independently seek work. This has led to conflict, but DC00L mainly sticks to targeting enemies of the Qunaalacs. Also, since DC00L is partially motivated by a fear of remaining out of service for too long, it tends to remain active.
