Background
Fando was a young Wookie when the invasion of Kashyyyk began. We all know what happened to the Wookies that didn't die from the fight: the Spice Mines of Kessel... His mentor Geeoda (Gee-o-da) went with him to the mines. After a couple of long and miserable years, they decided to break out. The plan was a good one. They slip onto an oncoming transport ship and stow away until they slip off. What went wrong was that Geeoya fell ill before the escape and didn't possess the willpower to go on with the plan. She urged Fando to escape and he reluctantly did. Now, after Joe and Cody take him in, he feels obligated to go back and save the other Wookies.
