As a young man in the dense and cruel jungle of Trandosha Xirst found a love for the hunt just like most other young trandoshans. However, Xirst was not found of the hunt so much as he was the fight, not the kill, but the honorable struggle between hunter and prey. Xirst believed that the fight at the end of the hunt was the true goal of the score keeper. As the young boy grew older, he moved on to stronger, smarter prey finding pleaser in the challenge that seeking and defeating the prey brought, believing that he was honoring the score keeper. Soon he had risen past his entire family and even most of the families in his area in terms of points surpassing his village leader at just 8 years old. this was proof to him that he had been blessed by the score keeper due to his appreciation for all aspects of the hunt and not just reveling in the kill like his blood thirsty brothers and sisters. Eventually as the clone war drew to an end and storm troopers were being drafted Xirst was among the first to volunteer for the front lines believing it was his true goal to hunt and defeat many other sentients for the rest of his days. Quickly gaining the attention of the chain of command and even rumored the Grand Moff Tarkan himself due to his brutality and willingness to take on any adversary. Xirst was placed at the rank of lieutenant and given his own platoon of brand-new bright-eyed soldiers, the chain of command hoped he would instill his own values onto the platoon, their expectations were more than surpassed. Xirst led his platoon with a cruel yet caring hand very similar to the ways his parents and other hunters in his village treated him as a young man. Xirst gained admiration and respect from his men, he called for honorable combat and capable soldiers and his soldiers delivered time after time. Xirst's platoon quickly became infamous for its effectiveness and went by the moniker "The Blood Hounds" due to their trail of blood and gore and the ability to find any adversary and dispatch them ruthlessly. Xirst was promoted to Captain and tasked with finding a lieutenant to take his place eventually. He chose a young Zabrak who went by the name Convesus. Convesus was one of Xirst's best and brightest he had never seen another do what Convesus could with a blaster carbine and enough preparation. Xirst had seen Convesus clear an entire smuggler den on his own during an excision as he went for the smuggler himself. The young man also held a similar sense of honor as Xirst had as a young boy. Under Xirst's wings the Blood Hounds thrived becoming a highly decorated enforcement platoon doing jobs for the empire the other platoons couldn't handle. That is until Xirst was sent to handle a possible rebel hold out on a moon orbiting Yavin. Apon arrival to orbit of the moon the Blood Hounds were ordered to open fire on the moon with an orbital bombardment. Xirst was outraged to take a life much less an entire base worth of rebel warriors without giving the so much as a fighting chance was beyond him. Apon refusing his orders he was verbally stripped of command by the general he was on holo call with and Convesus was promoted to Captain of The Blood Hounds. Xirst wasn't hurt by his demotion however he was hurt by the actions that Convesus then took. Xirst was thrown into holding and the moon was orbitally bombarded much to Xirst's anguish. After all was said and done Convesus presented himself to Xirst Saying that he had spoken to the General, Xirst was officially reinstated as captain as long as he presented remorse for his actions. Xirst spit at Convesus' feet calling he a traitor and false brother, Convesus wasn't pleased to be called so crudely by a man he looked up to as almost a second father. Convesus spoke in low tones telling Xirst that orders were orders and morals must be subjected to them and that he had fought tooth and nail to get Xirst reinstated. Xirst stood in shocked silence looking on his pupal with remorse not for his actions but for his inability to foster a love of the battle more than the love of the glory. That night some of Xirst's most loyal soldiers snuck him out to a pod and loaded in it with him and the fled to the outer rim where they formed a band of mercenary's and slowly Xirst lost them each one by one to the brutal battles and now he sits alone a hollow warrior, a man whose values can only be held by himself.
