Background

R06-R was a common OOM/B1-series security battle droid, before receiving several modifications by their current 'employer', including the vaguest hint of a personality and minor knowledge of medicine and the art of war.

They currently operate as part of a Separatist-aligned group within the Republic, serving for a senator of the Separatist party.

Motivation

Repayment.
Separatist Senator Thak Namrix is the one who arranged R06-R's modifications, and gave them their (modicum of) free will. Naturally, the droid is thankful for such a gift, and wishes to repay it with loyal deeds.

Duties

One of R06-R's core precepts is to aid their fellow mercenaries, political allies and/or hired hands. It is an irresistible compulsion for the droid; if it tries to resist, it may very well begin to malfunction, overheat and generally suffer from numerous negative effects.

Description

A common OOM/B1-series security battle droid, R06-R appears like most clankers, though they possess the characteristic red coloration on their 'shoulders' and 'collarbone' as is standard with security-type B1s.

Uncharacteristically, their armor coating is covered by a heavy cloak, designed to conceal and protect their chassis.

The rifle they tote about is a standard-issue E-5 rifle used by most B1 droids, modified with a scope (making it an E-5s, standard for Security-type droids). The weapon itself is of average quality, which would seem subpar to an organic.

Other Notes

Droids do not need to eat, sleep or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins or poisons.
Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating.
In addition, after selecting their career, a Droid PC may train one rank in six of the eight career skills (instead of the usual four).
After selecting their first specialization, a Droid PC may train one rank in three of the four specialization skills (instead of the usual two).


Total Initial Credits: 1250 (500 standard + 750 GM-given at chargen start) - Equipment Costs (-1225) + Post-Chargen 1d100 (19) = 44.
