Verpine culture and society rides very strongly on one knowing their place in their society. Sisko does not, and therefor was cast out of his colony. Why? He'd give you a long story in his very broken and peculiar dialect of Basic about the Queen. Anyone who knows anything would know that there's no queen in Verpine society, but Sisko seems to believe that there's one that lives in the galactic core and he needs to rescue her. To achieve this goal, he's taken up bounty hunting to hoard credits to fund his adventure. He spent his last few credits on getting himself to Cyranokin, where he's heard bounty hunting is good.
