BACKGROUND: Born and Bred

Hailing from an emanate shipping family on Ryloth Drenn Mivar was born into the world of moving cargo around the galaxy. The patriarch of the family, Selar Mivar wanted all family (kids, grandchildren, etc) to be versed in the family business in some aspect. Drenn grew up in the shipping corridors, wheeling and dealing, piloting and learning that there is much more to the galaxy then the Ryloth system, but always finding solace in the familial connection. As the years progressed the Selar patriarch name here] saw the potential in Drenn, naming him the successor to head of the family. While Drenn had made strides in the family business becoming one of the top members in the family, this name of succession was a great upset to a few, namely the cousin to Selar, Velso Yas.

There had been a long standing disagreement between Selar and Velso over the trajectory of the family’s business and standing in the Ryloth system.
While Selar was happy to have the family be present in the greater circles of power, Velso wanted more and always had, wanting to do expand into more lucrative endeavors in moving cargo, expanding into ‘import/export”. With the creation of the Galactic Republic and new chairs Velso saw the ability to grow the families power and influence, and took the opportunity and stuck.

And there was the fallout, family was a sunder and then quickly gelled again, there can only be a unified strong front. Instead of sitting in the high of familial power, Drenn Mivar works in direct service to Velso Yas. Drenn Mivar’s work now is to keep Velso Yas’s hands clean, but this is merely a stop game, a waypoint to where he is supposed to be
