Background
1). One day, when she was working as a bar keeper on Cosia, a male Cosian came in and tried to rob her. As he raised his blaster, she reached out and accidentally called upon the Force and the glasses flew from the table, smashing into the robber. She ran and fled home, thinking over her next decision.
2). After having fled from her home planet and to the planet of Myrkr, she spent 20 years meditating and living the life of the hermit. One day, when she saw a helpless Vornskyr baby being poached, she attacked the hunter. The hunter died, and she immediately regretted having fallen prey to her hatred.
3). After having meditated on Myrkr for 20 years, Jan'Di was approached by a Jedi from the NJO. They had sensed her presence while on the planet meditating and had asked her to join the NJO. Deciding that her years of meditating were of no use here, she accepted and left Myrkr to join the NJO.
4). Jedi Knight Grendor was the one to find Jan'Di on Myrkr, and was very close to her since then. They had an instant connection since the moment they met, connected by their compassion for people and animals.
5). One day, while on Myrkr, an injured poacher came to her and asked for help. She took him in, and after he told his story, she learned that he only poached the animals because he had to feed his family. She realized then that everybody deserved compassion, and she couldn't pick and choose who to give this compassion to.

Description
Jan'Di is rather tall for a Cosian, measuring up to about 1.4 meters tall. She has dusky emerald color to her scales and bright orange eyes. She is usually hunched over, except during combat. This appearance makes her look older than she actually is. Her hair falls in long braids across her back, reaching down to her rear. She is relatively slender for a Cosian, and doesn't look too muscular.
