Background

Gus was born to peaceful Ithorian farmers on the colony moon Eskarrs. He was taken in by The Hyperspace Hyenas, a notorious pirate gang lead by the treacherous Pirate Lord Eerats, after they razed the colony. Gus spent his adolescence and young adulthood aboard The Leer, where his fondness of and proficiency with the RS01 Powersword earned him the nickname "The Ripper."

As time wore on, however, Rudog's eagerness for the pirate's life was replaced with fear of his crewmates and horror with his own actions. Following a particularly grievous raid on Adratharpe 6, Gus deserted his crew and sought amnesty with the rising New Republic, providing intel in exchange for his freedom. This information was used to successfully raid the Hyena's hideout and capture most of the crew.

Motivation

Repentance - Gus hopes to use the skills he learned in his life of piracy to atone for the crimes of his past life.

Protection - Gus values the protection of other over the letter of the law.

Obligations

20 - Betrayal - After the rise of the New Republic and a change of heart, Gus sold out his fellow crewmates for an amnesty deal.

Description

A burly Ithorian who's body is pocked with scars. His translation unit is well-worn and speaks in a pirate accent.
