Wubb grew up in a typical Sullustan Warren-clan. His Mother had died on giving birth to him, and his father never remarried, opting instead for a life of service, focused on working against the growing imperial domination of the galaxy.
Wubb's father noticed strong aptitude for piloting and leadership in him early, and had him tutored in these areas during his early and formative years. In the latter of those formative years, his father made sure he got plenty of hands on experience, taking Wubb with him on his various shipping runs on and off planet.
When Wubb was a young adult, he had made various runs with his father and a crew of Corellian smugglers working with those on Sullust trying to counter the heavy hand of the SoroSuub corporation. During one of the missions, their freighter was attacked by a small band of bounty hunters. Wubb's father was injured, as was the commander and the first lieutenant in the initial volley of the attack. Though Wubb had no official ranking on the ship, he saw hesitation in the command crew, and jumped into action, assuming temporary command and issuing instructions to the crew. The crew instinctively followed his orders, and they successfully repelled their attackers, destroying 2 of the 3 attacking ships.
The commander, who's injuries were somewhat minor, witnessed some of the events, and after the encounter gave Wubb a commission on the spot.
Wubb's father was critically injured, and did not survive the remainder of the trip, but was lucid for long enough for the two to finalize their affairs, and for his father to express his profound admiration.
Word of Wubb's actions and commission spread quickly, and he gained substantial notoriety. He was given command of various smaller assignments to help hone his leadership ability, and quickly matured in his abilities.

Place of Origin and Mentor

Loyal to Sullust, and those that mentored him in his early years.

Dutybound (+5 - 1000credits) - Wubb feels an strong duty to his people, and specifically those who helped tutor him into what he is today. His decisions and choices are made with this obligation in mind.

Bounty (+10 - 10xp) - Word of Wubb's actions on the Corellian freighter that resulted in the destruction of 2 ships has resulted in a sizable bounty being placed on him. Because of his talents, that bounty is primarily a capture bounty, not eliminate (and Wubb isn't convinced capture is preferable...)

Wubb is a young, handsome Sullustan, slightly taller than average, and of thin, but toned build. He has an uncharacteristic beard under his lower lip, that is full and grey, which tends to result in others regarding him more favorably.

Wubb is calm and confident, especially under pressure. He never has to raise his voice when giving commands or offering advise or suggestions, and that aspect generally creates confidence and loyalty towards those who work with him.
Off duty, he is somewhat more relaxed, but tends to still maintain a bit of emotional distance from others.
