As the fourth son, Talen was too far down the line to inherit power or land—and so, he was largely ignored, left to his own pursuits.

What the family considered a frivolous hobby—digging through dust and decay in search of “irrelevant artifacts”—became Talen’s obsession. With access to elite tutors and off-record data archives, he dove into ancient galactic history, specializing in Jedi ruins, pre-Imperial lore, and forgotten civilizations.

Everything changed when Talen unearthed a partially intact Jedi archive on Ossus. The Empire moved quickly, destroying the site, eliminating his research team, and branding him a dangerous agitator. His family—more concerned with maintaining status—cut ties and condemned him publicly.

Now a rogue scholar with a heavy debt to a mysterious patron, Talen travels the Outer Rim aboard a modified freighter, surviving on traded artifacts, encrypted findings, and just enough charm to get out of trouble. His montrals and keen instincts help him navigate deadly ruins and dangerous deals, while his noble upbringing gives him the charisma to blend into high society when needed.

Driven by a belief that history must be preserved, Talen walks a precarious line between academic integrity, moral responsibility, and survival—all while being hunted by the very forces trying to erase the past he’s sworn to protect.
