Background
Erilav Teiron spent his earliest years in the shadow of the Temple of the Kyber on Jedha. Orphaned at two years old by an outbreak of Candorian plague, he was among the dozens of children cared for by the Church of the Force. The orphanage was overcrowded and often harsh, and Erilav had to rely on his natural sensitivity to the Force to keep himself afloat.
When Erilav was four, this sensitivity caught the eye of Ro’val Ostari, a passing Pho Ph'eahian Jedi Master who had come to visit the Temple of the Kyber. Master Ostari took the young Erilav back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, where the young Theelin would be placed into the Heliost Clan of initiates. While Erilav never topped any class standings, he was an apt student and performed well away from the rough streets of Jedha City.
After spending eight years as an initiate, Erilav was taken on by Master Ostari as her Padawan. Master Ostari was a master of diplomacy and peacemaking, and Erilav spent the majority of his decade-long apprenticeship in the Core and the Colonies dealing with negotiations and protecting Senators.
A year after Erilav passed his Trials and was promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight, he was sent to the Jedi Outpost on Corsin in the Expansion Region.
The intervention of the Great Hyperspace Disaster saw him assigned to Outset Station in the Outer Rim instead. This assignment, which has taken him far beyond the Core and his comfort zone, has challenged Erilav immensely, but he has become a far better Jedi for it.
Motivation
Help the Helpless: In a galaxy full of momentous events and desperate struggle, it is all too easy to forget the poor, the
weak, and the downtrodden. Erilav seeks to give voice to the voiceless, and help those who cannot help themselves. He also desires to bring a peaceful end to as many conflicts as he can, only using violence as a last resort. Erilav tries to avoid lethal force as much as reasonably possible.
Morality
Strength: Empathy
Erilav's temperament and ability to sense the emotions and thoughts of others make him extremely empathetic, and he is very good at seeing from another's viewpoint which gives him an edge in diplomacy.
Weakness: Naivety
Erilav's empathy extends to even his enemies, and he tends to take people at their word far more than he should. His over-reliance on his telepathic abilities also allow a canny individual to trick him readily.
82: Lightside Paragon
Description
Erilav is a tall, slim Theelin male. His skin is light blue, save for the white mottling that rolls down his face and neck. Three short horns protrude from either side of his forehead. His white, shoulder-length hair is usually worn in a short half-ponytail. Erilav has sharp but kind features, and almost always has a faint smile on his lips.
Erilav dresses in functional Jedi Mission robes in various shades of brown. His cyan-bladed lightsaber is always hanging prominently from his belt. The weapon's hilt is simultaneously elegant and functional, with a golden wire wrapping its way up around a simple silver hilt, before terminating at a golden emitter shroud. The hilt is wrapped with a black leather cord.
