Defensive Stance II

Background
Growing up on the planet Doran, Axel knew about the Force from day one. During the Clone Wars however Axel, his brother Griv, and their parents were refugees traveling from planet to planet. While on one world the CIS started to invade and a distress call was sent out to the republic. When they got there Axel was totally and completely infatuated with the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi. Seeing him liberate the world they were on would forever change and shape Axel's life.
Once the war was over they went back to Doran and his parents became miners, using special force abilities to help them find rare minerals. However this life was not enough for Axel. Ever since seeing the jedi and the clones in action all he wanted to do was become a jedi. However, now that the Empire had taken over the jedi had been labeled enemies of the empire. But Axel new the truth. So when he was old enough he decided to leave his home and travel the galaxy in search of any remaining jedi to help him learn about the force and train him in the ways of the jedi.
A short time ago he met up with a few other force sensitives and has been traveling with them in an effort to learn about The Force.
While he was gone he learned that his parents had died in a sand storm on their home planet. He never seemed to have the time or the coin to be able to make it back there to pay his last respects. However, since meeting up with the others he now has a ship and the time. He went back and was faced with his brother who seems to have turned to the dark side. After searching the galaxy for his lost family inheritance he finally was forced to engage in a fight with his brother, and after trying to persuade him otherwise, he was forced to kill his brother in order to preserve what's left pf the Jedi Order.
Now he keeps a token from his brother on him at all times to remind himself of the sacrifices a jedi must make in.
