Now You See Me 1 F&D 148 Force Talent: Once per session, the PC may take the Now You See Me action, making a HARD Deception check. If successful, a number of NPCs equal to his Cunning within medium range forget any interactions they had with the character during the last 30 minutes. At the GM's discretion, multiple Threats or Dispairs may give the NPCs in question unpleasant side effects, such as confusion, nightmares, or persistent and maddening suspicion that they've forgotten something important.
Master of Sadows 1 F&D 146 Incidental: Once round, the character may voluntarily suffer 2 strain to decrease the difficulty of the next Stealth or Skulduggery check by 1, to a minimum of EASY.
Codebreaker 1 F&D 140 The character removes 1 Setback per rank of Codebreaker from his attemprs to break codes or decrypt communications. In addition, the character decreases the difficulty of his Computers and Intellect checks made to break codes or decrypt communications by one (this does not increase with additional ranks of Codebreaker).

Background

Born to a poor family on Taris that was barely scraping by. His father disappeared not long after his birth and his mother struggled with dead-end jobs to make ends-meat. Because of this, Isen learned quickly that any little bit could be what helps them get along from day-to-day. By the age of 5, he learned how to slip into the market without getting noticed and started using this to take what food and items he and his mother needed.

It was at age 6 when two Jedi came to take him to be trained in the ways of the Order. Seeing the fact that this young boy was already skirting the law to get what he needed, the two Jedi had a lengthy discussion about if his temperament, and opinions of law and order, would fit into the New Jedi Order. But, it was ultimately decided that his natural talents would be a welcome asset to the Jedi, one that they were dreadfully lacking at the time.

At the Jedi Academy, Isen learned the basics of the force, and even though he learned the basics of lightsaber combat, he did not excel in face-to-face combat, but instead was more comfortable staying further away from his opponents and has been training to incorporate a blaster pistol along with his Guard Shoto to protect him from returning fire. He has also shown what was originally seen in him when he was recruited, which is his ability to go unseen when he wants to, and can even make some forget that they have even seen him entirely.

Motivation

There have been many secrets lost over the past decades, due to the Emperor's lust for power. Isen has taken it upon himself to search the galaxy for these lost secrets of the Jedi Order. He knows that his particular set of talents allow him to come and go in some of the most harshly anti-Republic areas in search for anything that can be of use to the New Jedi Order. His greatest hope is to reclaim some of the lost Holocrons, but if along the way, he finds texts or other knowledge about the Jedi, he will be happy to add it to the archives. Along with this, he will also try to gain knowledge and intelligence on many of the other factions and planets in the galaxy, to help the Order understand what has changed since they last were a force in the galaxy.

Morality

STRENGTH - Cleverness:
By observing beings and situations in an unorthodox manner, Isen has gained a new and unique understanding. Because of this, he is able to approach problems from unexpected angle and produce original solutions. For Isen, these solutions tend to shy away from straight-forward action (both fighting and negotiation), but instead focusing more on observation, intelligence gathering, subversive tactics, and even sabotage.

WEAKNESS - Sophism:
Due to his unique way of thinking, he has, at times, assumed that those who do not share, or understand his insight are less enlightened. Though he may not outwardly say this to them, he tends to see the military as brutes, and the politicians as weaklings. He knows that neither could actually do thier jobs without people like him, who gather the intelligence needed for a proper fight or gain the upper-hand on in a negotiation.

5'10", lean, athletically built human.

He is an all-round average looking man. No distinguishing features, and he actively tries to keep it that way, knowing that any uniqueness may, in the future, lead to him being remembered or (even worse) recognized by the wrong people.
