Background
At one time, R5 was a premier co-pilot to the majestic FLORIAN Space Liners. Traversing from system to system, one too many imperial "safety checks" rubbed this droids programming the wrong way. Never one to wait for authorization in a pinch, R5 stole the cruiser he was on and jumped blind into hyperspace to escape an Imperial patrol. The ship was intercepted by the now deceased General, and subsequently R5 was assigned to Cyan Squadron.
