Respectable: It’s entirely possible for a merchant to spend their whole career transporting and selling legal goods while keeping on the right side of the law, but sometimes laws change and they cannot or will not change with them.

Local Politics: The character supports some particular political cause, typically within a single planet or system. The character actively gets involved in campaigns and candidates, and may even fight on behalf of a political organization.

Debt: Gorrek owes someone a great deal, whether that debt consists of money or something else. His life was turned around by a local political organization and though he engaged in crime due to local law changes, Gorrek's view was changed on the matters of crime, and actively pursued peace whenever possible to reflect the kindness that was shown to him.

High Risk: Gorrek just can’t help it; he has to take the most dangerous jobs and play for the highest stakes. He is a victim of his own pride, and his ego often lands him in trouble. Gorrek has something to prove and, when challenged, he cannot help but take the opportunity to display his bravery, even if this puts him and his party in harm's way.
