Lucien Grant was a human from a backwater world who was inducted into the Jedi order before the clone wars at the beginning of the War. He served Master Marrick as a Padawan learner before the war and at the age of 16 when the war broke out he joined his master. His master was very in touch with the force and taught him to rely on the force. His master was older and preferred to take things at a slower pace and focused that a good Jedi had the force as his ally and without it, he was just a common man. He developed his skill in the force, still practicing a lightsaber but with an emphasis on his connection with the force. Master Marrick and Padawan Grant went on a mission where they encounter a dark acolyte resulting in Master Marrick becoming one with the force fighting off the acolyte so Grant could escape. Grant was upset for a time feeling it was unfair that he was left without a master but soon realized his master wanted him to move on. He was reassigned to Knight Lancaster as the council felt before making him into a knight that he should develop more experience as a warrior. He finds himself to be a natural leader and decent tactician and believes a good leader needs to be near the front but is not always qualified to be there. He seeks to achieve Knighthood soon and help bring the war to an end.

Duty 10
Intelligence: Intel wins wars and Grant knows this an effective leader can only make good decisions based on how much he knows. The more he knows the better decision he can make. He is also trying to find out what the war aim of the CIS is.

Motivation
Mentor: Grant wants to make his old master proud by becoming a knight and improving his connection with the force.

Strength: Compassion, Grant cares about those around him and always looks to save as many lives as possible at whatever the cost.

Weakness: Coldness, due to lots of time spent studying or planning he can be seen as cold because he believes it is all on him to protect everyone. He doesn't want to be in the position his master was In and fail someone who is relying on him.

A 5'7" human with brown hair and eyes. He has the typical padawan braid along with the standard Jedi robes. He carries a single-bladed blue lightsaber that he built as younglings. He sees it as an extension of the force than a weapon or tool. His eyes show the pain he carries of the clone wars and tries to remain somewhat optimistic during the war but struggles with the pain he has to carry.
