Background
Aru was a member of the local resistance on his home planet, fighting against the Empire and the corporations that were pillaging the world. Word of the wider fight in the galaxy reached his ears, though, and he wound up being one of the Iakaru who managed to smuggle himself off-world to join the Rebel Alliance. Discovering a talent for piloting along the way, he's determined make as flashy a mark as he can to be a beacon for the people back home.
