As a poor orphan on Nar Shadaa, Kaiden Janus lived a harsh life. His younger years were spent rummaging through garbage heaps and scrap piles in order to find valuable salvage, which was then traded away at a fraction of the price to buy the bare essentials for him and his sister, Caeda, to survive. He struggled to provide for them both, eventually being forced to move into trading and dealing with a branch of the Exchange. Smaller and weaker than most, Kaidan was not good at manual labor and knew that he could not protect his sister if he was away for so long. Fortunately, there was one thing that he seemed to excel at: being in the background. He began to run rings around the other syndicates, acting as the Exchanges main source of information and an ideal small time spice runner.


For the next few years, into his mid teens, he saved what wasn't extorted and used for necessities as a sort of fallout fund. It was good that he did so, as in the weeks after his sister's 15th birthday, he noticed that people looked at her differently. In a way that he wasn't comfortable with. Steeling his courage, he proceeded to steal the money that would have been extorted from him and brought his sister and their few belongings to the spaceport. By bribing one of the guards to look the other way, he and his sister snuck onto the ship and were flown offworld.


Within the week, they landed on Mimban, an Imperial fringe world. He bribed the official in charge of immigration and customs, managing to get his sister and himself identification in exchange for a large sum of credits. Sending his sister off to an orphanage, he began continuing with his past work. Chased by members of the exchange, he began to work harder than ever before, continuing the only life he had ever known, his sister left behind on Mimban.

Power: Kaidan always attempts to assert control or power over others. He sticks his nose where it doesn't belong, attempts to be a part of all proceedings, and tries to mastermind every plot. Even better to him if he can do it without ever being seen or known by those he manipulates. He often takes down or roots out smaller and less experienced criminals as a way to have fun.

Bounty: When he abandoned the Exchange on Nar Shadaa, he took a significant amout of profit compared to others of his level. His superiors caught wind of him, and set a bounty on his head. Perfect for low level hunters, he has 3,000 credits on him. The only condition? Alive.

Kaiden doesn't stand out much, with messy brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin. He is not as tall or buff as most people, in fact being quite lanky. Most people who met him would describe him as average, and in most aspects they would not be wrong. The only unique symbol is a set of even scales tattooed into his shoulder. He often prefers to keep it covered, preserving his anonymity and keeping others from paying too close attention to him. Contrasting his appearance is his front of a personality, because unless his is out information gathering or on the job, he can be quite controlling and brazen.
