Background
BX-266 was a separatist commando droid that fought in the clone wars and was deactivated with the rest of the droid army at the end. BX was found and reprogrammed by the fledgling alliance to fight the Empire with his upgraded accuracy and agility software. Bx class droids were not known for their personalities or intellect, BX-266 is no exception.
