Dorren Waldon (he/they) - Human Mystic Seer

Dorren is a human that grew up on an unremarkable planet in the Middle Rim. As one of the few Force-sensitive folks on the planet, they were often contacted asking for their opinion on stuff– especially because of his ability to see visions and forsee the future. However, this ability was rarely as useful as people hoped, leaving folks upset and disappointed at the lack of help they received. Dorren was bothered by how overwhelming this was, both with the constant need to assist people with frivolous things but also just the general presence of other folks always hovering around.
Due to this, Dorren strove to be independent and self-sufficient. Choosing to leave the overwhelming chatter of everyone else behind, he became more of a recluse. He still works on honing his skill of foresight, but now that he’s alone, turns it more towards his own future as compared to everyone else. This is part of his journey towards seeing himself as an individual and not as a tool for other people’s desires. He finds the pursuit of knowledge in general interesting and worthwhile, and has become something of a scholar. He uses this knowledge for his own fulfillment but also to learn how to be more independent. He’s not a fighter, and prefers to use his mental skills over his nonexistent physical ones.
As a hermit, his life continued to be unremarkable. He joined up with the rest of the group on a whim after stumbling across folks looking for someone to accompany them. Bored of living alone and wanting to try out his newly fortified Force skills, he decided to set out for a more interesting adventure– with a fully packed backpack, of course.
