K0-K0 was just a service protocol droid back during the Republic. Serving a Corellian Diplomat, Mez Brendall in Coruscant. His son, Bendy Brendall owns a starship maintanence company in Corellia and often come over to visit the father. K0-K0's relationship with Bendy is special, K0-K0 has taken care of him since he was an infant until a fully grown man and an entrepreneur he is now. During the battle over Coruscant during the later time of the war, a Vulture Droid crash landed on the Brendall's estate, for Bendy it was a prized posession. He stripped the Vulture droid a part learning of its mechanics and structure but most importantly the brain of the Vulture droid. Bendy tear the codes apart and learn how the Vulture Droid calculate its flying patterns, targeting and trajectory calculation. He toyed with it and recode it so it could be encoded to any machine or.. any droid.. Bendy decides to encode these programming into K0-K0's processor and see if K0-K0 can piloting can be as good as a Vulture Droid. Its was a success, K0-K0's flying skill can outmatch any Republic Fighters or maybe even a Jedi Pilot.. Its reflex, calculation and flight pattern is precise and sharp. Bendy was happy to see his work on K0-K0 an astronimical success.

Years has passed and the Imperial Senate dissolved, Mez and Bendy decide to return to Corellia and settle down under imperial rule. Bendy decides to move his entire operation closer to the outer rim but he couldnt bring K0-K0 with him as his father is sick and getting weaker as he aged.

K0-K0 took care of Mez and at the same time dream of getting back into the sky to pilot again, K0-K0 has slowly grown atune to flying and because of the coding he has grown aspiration to see the galaxy and meet his human companion Bendy. Mez couldnt get any healthcare in the Imperial worlds because he was no longer the Elite, he has been thrown down to a working class after the disapation of the Senate, On his death bed, K0-K0 tried to contact Bendy of his father but could not be go through, Mez Brendall died peacefully that night. K0-K0 cremated him and send his ash over the Corellian Sea.. He must fly to find Bendy and tell him of his Father..

K0-K0 Manage to hitch rides from sector to sector offering his service to cargo freighters doing logistics also learning the art of dealings over illegal illicits that some of these space truckers has stowed to earn extra credits.

K0-K0 arrived at Kestrel Station, Bendy's spacedock where a lot of medium ships come for their repairs on this border between the Outer Rim and Mid Rim. After being dropped off, K0-K0 was greeted with nobody. The space station was empty, no ships being repaird, no stores, no equipment it seems like everything was stripped clean. K0-K0 decides to check one of the service Platform.

There is one ship parked there, a YT-2000 LIGHT FREIGHTER, seems heavily modified. K0-K0 got in and started the Ship, Suddenly a holograme, it was bendy.

"Hello K0-K0, i know what happened to father, i knew this day has come.. if only he was taken care of by the Emprie for his service to the republic he would have not be in that state. And i know you will come looking for me but let me apologies for my short of communications because i have cut all of them to the civilized world and i have decided to join this guys who want to fight a good cause and take down this evil Empire.. I will be giving them my mechanical knowledge and skills in repairing their fighters and equipments so they can better fight.. I have put my coordinates in this ship and i do hope that it is you that find this.. Soon we will be together again K0-K0 and we'll fight the good fight.. I will see you"

K0-K0 lock to the coordinates and flew to where Bendy has last been.
K0-K0 came out of Hyperspace and out of it infront of his cockpit was a Nebulon-B frigate.

The ship was tractored beamed in. The Rebels put him in a cell and question K0-K0 why he is here and how does he know how to get there.. K0-K0 asked for Bendy and they now understand how this droid manages to get here.

they let K0-K0 out of the cell and tell him everything, it was said Bendy was missing after an Imperial raid on a logistic run, they dont know if Bendy was still alive or dead but from the looks of it the cargo was gone but the ship was left heavily damaged so Bendy probably jettison himself in an escape pod but that is all they know.

The rebels offered K0-K0 to go but he refuse and offer his piloting skills and skills in talking to ship computers and maintainence only in return to help find his companion and life time friend Bendy.

K0-K0 is now part of the Rebellion as a Pilot

CONNECTION

The Player Character has some kind of connection or
relationship to the Alliance that draws him to its cause.
He might not have had any desire to fight in the Rebellion otherwise, joining only because the Connection
he is tied to is a part of it or because serving the Alliance somehow enhances the Connection. Over time,
his commitment to the Rebellion could become more
personally ingrained, but it all begins with the desires
or influences of another.

SPACE SUPERIORITY

As the Combat Victory-driven PC feels about troop conflicts, so this Player Character feels about ship-to-ship combat and naval engagements. To him, the war will ultimately be decided in the stars, and what the Alliance
lacks in sheer numbers, it more than makes up for in the quality and tenacity of its pilots. Every single space battle is an opportunit y to show the rest of the galaxy that the Alliance not only can win the war, but is destined to do so
