Background
The Duty to Tradition
Even at the height of the Empire’s power, the Force still plays a major cultural role on some worlds. In less sophisticated cultures, Force-sensitives may occupy leadership roles as shamans or spiritual advisers. Individuals could be inducted into an order during their early childhood, so that they could engage in a rigorous course of study. Such trainees are seldom given any other option but to embrace their education. The ability to manipulate the Force provides them with a moral obligation to use it for the betterment of their culture and the greater galaxy beyond it. The character may be selfless in making decisions to help others and may face the consequences which come from intuitive self-sacrifice.
Motivation
Ambition
Expertise: The character wants to excel in his chosen work or area of expertise, and constantly practices to achieve perfection.
Cause
Restore the Jedi: The character wants to see the Jedi Order restored and rebuilt, although what he knows of the Jedi may be limited or even inaccurate. He may want to be a Jedi, or just want to see them return to being a presence in the galaxy.
Morality
Curiosity
The character is driven to learn new things, to seek out and discover new information, and to expand his knowledge and understanding of those things that interest him.
Obsession
Sometimes, interest in something can turn to obsession if not tempered with reason. The character can slip into an obsessive state about his need to discover information, accomplish a goal, or even defeat a rival, and he may ignore all else until success is his.
Discipline
Rigorous mental and physical discipline comes naturally to the character. He does not make choices rashly, and every action is precise and selected. Those who think they can goad the character into making foolish choices are sorely mistaken.
Obstinance
Disciplined characters may fall into the trap of simple stubbornness if they are not careful. An obstinate character often refuses to consider any course of action other than the one he chooses, unwilling to accept that someone else may have conceived of a better option
