Scavenging in the deserts of Tatooine Jik'tal Rkik and two other Jawas stumble across a YT-1300 freighter. As his two friends begin to scavenge the makeshift camp outside, Jik'tal Rkik enters the ship. Unfortunately while busy scavenging the Jawas don't notice the pilot return and he immediately kills the two Jawas outside of the ship. Fearing for his life Jik'tal Rkik hides on-board as a reluctant stowaway. As the ship takes off, Jik'tal Rkik not knowing where he will end up stays hidden, surviving and waiting for his chance to escape. When the ship finally lands again Jik'tal Rkik waits until he thinks the coast is clear, but to his surprise the pilot was still present on-board. The pilot quickly fumble to reach his weapon, but in a reflex action for survival Jik'tal Rkik fires his blaster killing the pilot where he stood. Upon exiting the ship Jik'tal Rkik found himself surrounded, as he lowered his weapon a figure gestured him forward. Jik'tal Rkik did not know who this individual was, but he recognized a Hutt when he saw one and knew exactly what that meant. Two men rush past Jik'tal Rkik to inspect the ship and returned after a few minutes shouting, "All cargo is secure and accounted for, but Drexx is dead." The Hutt turned from his men and looking impressed just stared at Jik'tal Rkik. After awhile the Hutt began to speak saying, "This must be your lucky day. That Bantha Rat owed me a debt, but if I just kill you I'll never be able to collect my credits. So here is the deal, what was once his is now yours. Enjoy the ship, we'll be seeing you to collect." Shouting to his men the Hutt yelled "Grab the cargo and let's go!" With that the Hutt spared Jik'tal Rkik's life allowing him to leave with the ship, but unfortunately for Jik'tal Rkik he knew that this like all gifts given by a Hutt comes with a cost. Now far from home this Jawa misses the deserts of Tatooine, but instead finds himself thrust into a robust galaxy drifting through the vastness of space marked with a debt not his own.
