Good natured doctor always helping those in need happened to help a political figure in need at a restaurant who seemed to be choking on something. Turned out to be a foiled assassination attempt and the would-be assassin started to threaten her for costing him quite a sum. Out of her depth, she used her former drug addict patients to contact their drug dealer/underworld contact and she brokered a deal to flee to the Rim Worlds for a while. Out on the Rim, she can disappear and lie low. Her skills are always in need, so she never lacks for work and doesn't have to look over her shoulder for an assassin.

Owes a Hutt a debt for anonymous passages out of the Core and out into the Rim. Good Samaritan work ran afoul of a political assassination attempt and leaving the Core Worlds until the heat died down seemed prudent.
