Background
D3-RP was a prototype unit built by General Grevious after all his arms were cut off. In order for General Grevious to regain use of his limbs he needed to find a way to restore his lost arms. Using a combination of complex mechanical nanoequipment and a modified Sega Dreamcast controller, General Grievous developed D3-RP. D3-RP could regenerate successfully, however due to the lack of ancient technology Grevious should have opted for the technologically advanced Wii remote and resulted in D3-RP being both extremely lethargic and suicidal. D3-RP had then destroyed Grievous after 2 days of trying to activate a thermal detonator to kill them both. Killing Grevious D3-RP became and enemy of the Empire and friend to no one. D3-RP was sold off as a museum piece up until the International Clone Museum collided with a black hole where D3-RP was sent through the event horizon and crashlanded on planet
