Rax was trained by the Bothan Spynet but found their obsession with "The Common Cause" suffocating. He realized that the Spynet used people like disposable tools. During a mission to track an Imperial defector, Rax saw an opportunity. He helped the defector disappear in exchange for a small fortune and "died" in a convenient explosion.
• Why he's a Skip Tracer: He now operates as a freelance Skip Tracer under the name Rax, using Spynet-level tradecraft to find people who don't want to be found.
• The Hook: If the Spynet ever finds out their "dead" agent is alive—and that he let a high-value target go—they’ll send their best assassins to finish the job.
