Background

Istvan is a native from planet Navarion. He was a student of and old Force tradition, loosely related to the Jedi and exclusive to his planet.
In Navarion, management of the planets is charged to the Kulas, people similar to Senators, whose membership rotate every seven years between the different clans.
Clan Amonet, Istvan's clan, was in charge when Clan Nebtuu, a traditional rival, decided to execute a coup. Clan Nebtuu called in the CIS for help, which aided Clan Nebtuu oust the Amonets from power in exchange for exploitation of the planet's numerous natural resources. In the end, what happened is that the CIS took effective control of the planet for its own benefit.
Istvan's Master, on her dying moments, gave him the Amulet of Monithal, a ritual amulet given to adepts who pass their final tests (similar to Jedi's Lightsabers given on knighthood), and told him to escape, and that he wasn't ready yet to use his amulet but he would be in the future.
Istvan fled his home planet and joined the republican Army, where he was assigned to a small group of Jedi in the hopes that he finally unveils his Force powers and keeps the tradition.

Motivation

Preservation of his Force tradition

And

Liberation of his home planet.

Obligations

Oath (20): To free Navarion from the CIS.

(I used Obligation as his starting career is from EotE, but it can very easily changed into any Duty if you so prefer).

Description

Istvan is an average height, slim but fibrous young man. His skin is tanned due to spending a lot of time outdoors. He shaves his head completely and has several tattoos all over his body resembling schematized animals. He usually expresses opinions through hard to understand riddles.

Other Notes

This is a weird concept. It's supposed to be a kind of Shao-Lin monk. He is supposed to be trained physically in fighting, etc, and have his training interrupted before reaching the mystical part (Force Sensitive to gain usage of the amulet and use some Force Powers). I used Marauder as it's the closest to a brawl specialist - just change all "Frenzy" cheese for "Focused" or something which sounds more Shao-Lin-ish.
Given enough px, he can do massive damage unarmed (Brawn+Feral Strength Ranks+Medicine Ranks, non-soakable), but due to fighting mostly droids in the Clone Wars I thought that would be balanced (I don't think Pressure Point should apply to droids, honestly). He's good with melee, though, or can use brawl weapons. Out of combat he's open to fill any gap the group may need, though he can shoot people to boost attributes (just not yet).
Purchase of the Force Sensitive tree should be done only with GM's permission, as a reward after a significant event that unlocks his true potential.
I made up (well, not that much) all about his native planet, but it can be adjusted to any obscure planet that fits the GM's needs for backstory.
This is not an archetypical Clone/Jedi, but I thought it was something different and fun to play. I'd like to have it a go.
