Background
Born on Nar Shaddaa, Vane lived with his Father, Mother and older brother in the lower slums. Life was tough but they just got by, until one day when Vane was 8 his parents didn't return home, unable to find them and without other family it was just the brothers, alone and without much options they chose to do what many and done before. Steal, cheat and lie to make credits. For many years this worked and the brothers made a small name for themselves, it was this that led them to be offered the chance to join a quick up and coming swoop bike gang, They joined and for a time Vane felt like he had a family again. Unfortunately Killian always bigger and better plans, He approached Grakkus the Hutt, the local hutt crime lord, and pleaded for a chance for a place in his employment. Grakkus, seeing an opportunity, would allow him entry on one condition, the total destruction on his old gang, including Vane. In a act of pure selfishness and corruption he agreed and put into motion the demise of his past anchors. Killian volunteered himself and Vane for a mission to sneak into local store room, unknown to Vane it belonged to Grakkus and was meant to be his tomb. Breaking into the store was too easy, Vane had an unease, an inkling he had felt all his life but only when danger was near, he always listened to his gut and it was telling him to duck, doing so left his brothers baster bolt just inches from his head. Vane couldn't believe it, his brother was trying to kill him, it was there Killian reveled his and Grakkus's deal, that it was too late for Vane and the gang for they have already fell to an ambush of his planning. Quickly slicing into the fire suppression system gave him enough cover to slip out of the room and run back to safer streets. Returning to the groups hangout his worst fears were realized, body's lay about the room, left where they fell as a warning to others who challenged Grakkus. Gathering what he could Vane retreaded into the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa, hoping he wouldn't be found.
Motivation
