Background
K.M. 3000 was once a specialized robot assassin for the empire. Scavenged from a crashed Star Destroyer on Abafar, K.M. was barely functioning when it was found. After being patched up and rewired by the scavengers, K.M. was purchased by the rebel alliance with the hopes of repurposing him as a spy/assassin who could infiltrate and take out high profile empire targets. Unfortunately, the alliance's top engineers haven't quite perfected K.M.'s programming, but they think they might be able to find some components from the empire that could be the key to fixing the robot. K.M. is a very accurate and discrete sharpshooter who is driven to kill the marks that are given to him with an unheard of level of determination and (strangely) glee, BUT he has been known to malfunction and accidentally fire at his fellow rebel soldiers. Another unique malfunction they can't seem to work out is K.M. hyperverbal obsession with its handless, sniper-rifle-of-a right arm, which it calls "Ruth" and seems to think is its mother.
Motivation
K.M. 3000 has no beliefs, special connections, or quests that motivate him, but he has been programmed by the alliance to feel happy when he kills members of the empire and is, therefore, motivated to do so. In addition, K.M. is motivated on a deeper level to protect "Ruth" from harm and will do whatever it costs to do so (this is a secret motivation).

Description
K.M. is 2 m tall, slender, and painted matte black. He has an upright, bipedal build with right arm that has been modified to be a sniper rifle. His affect unpredictably fluctuates from distant/cold to manic/giddy. If anyone touches his right arm he tends to lose control and hurt whoever is around. Must protect "Ruth"
